getting a balanced mix

hey guyz. i need to get nice fat sound on my sound. like the bebe winans live dvd sound.
where do i start. and what do i use to get my ears to grow more on sound design.
i need to recognize deferent frequencies pliz help. software reference if posible. thanks

Hey Bongani,

The first place to start is how to better eq your mix. After that get into drum compression to fatten up your sounds.
