What are your Dreams and Goals?

Ever since I was young, I have written songs and dreamt of one day recording my songs in a studio. To even visit or see an actual studio would be a dream come true for me. I have completed years of school in my own merit and I currently seek to bring alot more to my music. I enjoy singing anf performing live. Currently, I am working with a vocal trainer to explore my range as a singer and learning other musical instruments. I hope to one day hear my songs displayed on different venues and airwaves to share with the mass.

About Me

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Naomi found the way from her pen to the paper creating pages of songs to her name at the tender age of 12 years old. Her unmatched desire to reach others through her music, she has also has had the privilege to learn and read music under the leadership of her middle school band teacher. Thereafter, creativity began to blossom as Naomi joined a local chorus group to participating in the Gospel Choir at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She received her B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degree while continuing the process of skillfully learning the piano and already the flute. Although, studying rigorously in her profession in her own merit and with the full support of her family, she has never left the passion for her first love--singing and writing.

As a blossoming and talented singer/songwriter, her musical influences stem from such talented artists such as Babyface--her inspiration to songwriting, Sarah Vaughn, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Mos Def, Sade, Anita Baker, Norah Jones, Christina Aguilera, Sara Bareilles, India Arie, Corrine Rae Bailey and her baby sister Tamika Jeanty-someone to look out for. Naomi is most recognized for her smooth, alto vocals and has already lent her vocals to the K.A.U.R. 89.1FM (Augustana College Radio, Sioux Falls South Dakota) jingle. Currently, she is working with local artists and producers and is a proud student of Live School of Music under vocal instruction with Axel in the Miami area.

As noted, Naomi has been inspired by a variety of different genres while embracing the art of soul, smoothness of RnB, sensual sound of jazz and well-rounded sound of folk and the blues. Without a doubt, Naomi is making certain the evolution of music creativity continues yet holding on to the true art of music.
